| Europe--Spring 1998 In the Spring of 1998 Roy Vermillion and I took 17 Hilton Head Prep Students to Europe. We did six countries in 12 days! Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, and England were all on the itinerary. |
Greece & Turkey--Spring 1999 During Hilton Head Prep's 1999 Spring Break Roy Vermillion and I escorted 14 students to Greece and Turkey. We were even able to celebrate Greek Orthodox Easter in Athens! |

Costa Rica--Spring 2000 What trips are next?

In August of 2000 I took 14 students from my new school, Glenelg Country School, to the Navajo Reservation for a "service and learning" trip. We worked at St. Michael's Indian School, traveled the four corners area of the Southwest and learned a lot about the Navajo culture. We also learned a great deal about ourselves.
